Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. We do not store or log those search terms on our own systems. The provider’s privacy terms apply to its collection and use.
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message outside the organization unless required by law or needed to address the request.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine server, analytics, and advertising systems may collect technical details when a page loads, including:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring page, when available
- Date and time stamps
Cookies help measure site use and may support advertising. Browser controls can reject or remove cookies, though some functions may then behave differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected information supports a limited set of operating purposes:
- Keeping pages available, stable, and responsive
- Sending a search request to the selected partner
- Learning which pages visitors find useful
- Diagnosing errors and technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
Outside Websites and Advertising
Links may lead to sheriff rosters, booking pages, corrections agencies, government portals, courts, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination’s privacy notice governs its practices. We do not control those systems.
Advertising partners may use their own cookies or similar technology to understand activity across websites and select ads. That tracking occurs through the partner’s systems, not through a government record held here.
When Data May Be Shared
We do not sell personal information. Data may be available to:
- Search providers that process submitted queries
- Analytics vendors that measure visits and performance
- Advertising networks that deliver or assess ads
- Law-enforcement agencies or other public bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security Practices
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information. No internet service, transmission, or storage system is fully secure, so we cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and our ability to verify a request, a person may ask for:
- A copy of personal information we hold about them
- Correction of inaccurate personal information
- Deletion of eligible personal information
- An opt-out from certain processing where that right applies
These requests concern information controlled by this private site. Government offices and linked services handle their own data and require separate requests.
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this privacy notice as the service or legal requirements change. An updated version takes effect when posted here with a revised effective date.
